Become a PCO!

Become a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) – Make a Difference in Your Community

PCOs are the foundation of the Democratic Party, working to build strong communities and elect Democratic candidates. As a PCO, you’ll play a vital role in grassroots organizing and voter engagement.

What PCOs Do:

  • Engage with neighbors to understand local concerns and priorities.

  • Educate voters about Democratic values and policies.

  • Register voters and ensure Democrats are ready to cast their ballots.

  • Encourage voter turnout by reminding Democrats to mail in their ballots.

  • Shape the party’s direction as a voting member of the Thurston County Democrats.

Why It Matters:

Your efforts at the precinct level lead to Democratic victories at every level of government. Strong local engagement builds the foundation for successful elections.

How to Get Involved:

Becoming a PCO is a meaningful way to support Democratic candidates and drive change in your community. You can be appointed by the Thurston County Democrats—no prior experience required, just a passion for making a difference.
